INTRO TO PIPELINES

Why are Pipelines Important?

Ever feel like all of your potential clients are slipping through the cracks?

If you don’t have a pipeline or another very organized way of tracking your conversations, you will rely on “intuitive reach outs” and let thousands of dollars evaporate each month.

Your pipeline will allow you to always know exactly who to reach out to and how to begin a chat with them.

What are Pipelines?

Your Pipelines are a client attraction goldmine.  It’s where all of your contacts are stored and organized so you can get the most high-paying clients with the least amount of confusion or chaos.

Which Pipelines Do You Get Inside Your Thrive Machine Account?

We’ve given you 5 Pipelines in your Thrive Machine Account:

1. *Cool Leads

2. *Warm Potential Client
3. “Warm Potential Event Hosts

4. *Warm Potential JV Partners

5. *Warm Potential Referral Partners

Your Pipeline is a visual representation of the stages your people go through to become a Client, Event Host, JV Partner or Referral Partner.

You can add Pipelines, remove Pipelines or change the names of pipelines.

What’s the Difference Between the Cool Leads Pipeline and the 4 Warm Pipelines?

The Cool Leads Pipeline is a list of ALL your contacts.  It may have hundreds or thousands of people.

Your job is to Begin Chats with all of the people in your Cool Leads Pipeline.

If they respond positively, you’ll upgrade them to one of the Warm Pipelines.

If they don’t respond, reach out to them two more times.  If they don’t respond after three attempts, remove them from your Cool Leads Pipeline.

How Many People Should You Have in Each Pipeline?

Your Cool Leads Pipeline should have a LOT of people at first.

Once you begin chatting with people in your Cool Leads Pipeline, you will have less people in your Cool Leads Pipeline and more people in your 4 Warm Pipelines.

Your 4 Warm Pipelines should ideally have 20-50 Warm Leads at all times.  It's important to keep your Pipelines clean... so, if someone says no or stops responding inside your Warm Pipelines, you can remove them.

Once you have begun chats with ALL your Cool Leads (and your Cool Leads Pipeline is empty), you can use Paths 2-10 in the Get Consults System to add more people to your Pipelines.

START ROCKING YOUR PIPELINES

Step 1 | Add All Your Contacts To Your "Cool Leads" Pipeline

To make this easier for you, the Thrive Team is going to help you add your people to the Thrive Machine… all you have to do is the first step, and Thrive will not only add all of your people into your Thrive Machine Account... we'll organize them for you!

The first step is to fill out Step 1 of the Thrive Onboarding Form,
In this form, you'll get instructions on how to export up to 7 contacts lists into a CSV or Excel file.  (We recommend doing as many of them as possible.)

Once you Export these lists and upload them to the Step 1 form...
The Thrive Team can Import your Contact Lists into the Thrive Machine and organize them for you.

What are the 7 Contact Lists?
1. Phone Contacts

2. Email List

3. Mac or Google Contact List

4. Facebook Contact List

5. Instagram Contact List

6. Linked In Contact List

7. Any Other Contact List (eg Past / Present Clients)

What Does "7. Any Other Contact List” Mean?
Any Other Contact List  can include:
1. A list of Past Clients and Present Clients who can:
a. Book another package (use Enroll Your Client in Another Package.
b. Be an amazing source of Referrals (since they know the quality of your work.

2. Contact Lists from other Apps like What’s App, Voxer, Marco Polo, etc.

3. Directories from your Coaching or Holistic Schools

4. You can individually add Thrivers into the Potential Referral Partner or JV Partner categories.

Important Notes
1. It may take some time to export the lists, but it will be time well spent (and much faster than manually entering all the people).
2. Some of the contact lists (like Facebook) take 24-48 hours to export.

How Does Thrive Organize Your Contacts?

When you complete Step 1 of the Onboarding Form, the Thrive Team will:

1. Add all of your people to the Cool Leads Pipeline (so you know who to reach out to)

2. Turn each Contact List into a Smart List in the Contacts Tab of the Thrive Machine.  This will allow you to easily find each Contact List.

3. Tag each of your people with the Contact List they came from (so you know where to reach out to them)

What's a Tag?
A Tag is a label that you give people.  This allows you to keep your people organized and communicate with them effectively.  Thrive has used hundreds of tags (and without our tagging system, we would not have been able to grow past 6-Figures.)

What Tags Do You Get Inside Your Thrive Machine?
Thrive provides several tags that become important once you activate your funnels.

But when it comes to Pipelines, there are only 2 types of tags to pay attention to:

1. Contact Lists

2. Contact Types

“Contact List” Tags
Thrive will tag your people with the name of the Contact List they came from (for example Phone Contacts.

“Contact Type” Tags
You will tag your people with their Contact Type.  Tagging people with their Contact Type will help you know:
1. Who to reach out to

2. Which template to use.

We’ve Provided You With 5 “Contact Type” Tags

*potential client (haven’t met yet)

*potential client (I know)

*potential event host

*potential jv partner

*potential referral partner

Step 2 | Tag All Your People with a "Contact Type"

1 | Go to the Contacts tab (you’ll see your first 20 contacts)

2 | Add a ”Contact Type” Tag to all 20 people

a | Search these 20 people for all of the *potential clients (you haven’t met yet)

b | Check the box next to each of them
c | Add the tag "potential clients (you haven't met yet" to all checked people.
d | In the Contact List, make sure the tag was added in the right-most column.

e | Repeat this for *potential client (I know) (and the other 3 “Contact Type” Tags)

f | Keep going until all 20 people have one "Contact Type" tag.

3 | Give the next 20 people “Contact Type” Tags… and the next.
Once you have 100 people tagged with "Contact Type", you can either:

a | Repeat this process for another 50 or 100. (If you want you can expand the number of contacts per page to 50 or 100... OR

b | Begin Chats with these first 100 people.

What if some people can be tagged with more than one "Contact Types"?

You may have lots of potential clients who could also be a potential referral partner,

We recommend deciding what their primary primary "Contact Type" is and tagging them with one "Contact Type" tag only. For two reasons:
1. To avoid reaching out to them twice (by accident).
2. Because our Get Consults Smart Templates will guide you to the correct template. For example, if you reach out to someone with the Get Referrals Template and it turns out they’re actually a Potential Client (or vice versa) our templates will guide you to the correct template.

Isn’t this Super Tedious?
Yes. This will take some time, which might be annoying.  But this is probably the most important thing you can do to gain serious momentum in your business.  And, it’s WAY more annoying to NOT know who to reach out to or how to reach out to them.

To make this less annoying, you can:

1. Look for people you haven't thought about for a long time... like a treasure hunt.

2. Bless each person as you tag them (to make it a feel good meditation.)

Step 3 | Begin to Chat With Your People

1 | Go to your "Cool Leads" Pipeline.

2 | Type a Contact Type into the Pipeline Search Bar.
Example: Type *Potential Referral Partners into the Search Bar. You'll then see a list of all your Potential Referral Partners in your "Cool Leads" Pipeline.

3 | Reach out to 3, 5, 10 or 20 of them... one after the other using the Get Referrals Template.
It's easiest to reach out with the same template to one person after another.

If you carefully use Thrive Templates, your chats can strengthen and deepen all of your relationships... and help you get a LOT of high-paying clients!

Here are the Templates to use with each Contact Type.

1| Contact Type | *potential client (haven’t met yet)

Hot Template | Private Message (New People)

2| Contact Type | *potential client (I know)
Hot Template | Private Message (People You Know)

3 | Contact Type | *potential event host
Hot Template | Book Speaking Events

4 | Contact Type | *potential jv partner

Hot Template | Create JV Partnerships

5 | Contact Type | *potential referral partner
Hot Template | Get Referrals

Connect (Don't Spam)

If all of your contacts are in the Thrive Machine but you don't have consent to put them on your email list...
Do not put them on your email list. That's SPAM and will lower your email deliverability when you inevitably get lots of complaints.

Build Your Email List
You can individually email all of your Potential Clients and Referral Partners inviting them to opt in to your email list. Here's a sample email you can personalize and send to one person at a time.
