5a | Inner Game (Claim Your Credibility) 😄
People feel insecure about sharing their most impressive credibility statements for 3 main reasons.
1 | Don't want to brag?
People are going to judge you no matter what. They might judge you for being arrogant if you share your credibility and "nothing special" if you don't.
When you share your credibility, though, you'll be in a position to help more people and make more money.
And, when you are unnecessarily modest, it can sometimes suck the energy out of the conversation... while when you you boldly share your credibility, you may notice that it increases the energy in the conversation and gives your people MORE permission to share their greatness.
2 | Doesn't seem impressive enough?
You don't have to be the world's greatest... your credibility just has to be impressive enough for people to feel comfortable enough investing thousands of dollars with you or referring someone they care about to you. And, your credibility may be credible enough.
🌱 If you can't find anything credible yet...
Step 1 | Find the BEST credibility you have and use that (trust that it's good enough for now).
Step 2 | Decide what credibility you want to have by the end of the year. And, create a plan to earn that credibility.
3 | Does your Credibility count?
If you know that you've coached, mentored, taught, supported, helped hundreds of people... but they're not all in your niche. Or you didn't get paid to do all of it. That doesn't mean it doesn't count. Can you share that without exaggerating or lying, and maintaining the power of the work you've done so far.
For example, Over the last 20 years, I've supported hundreds of people to have better health, and I've found that I'm most passionate about helping women not just survive, but thrive during menopause.
4 | Don't plants seeds of doubt
Show up as a leader. Your work now, stands on the shoulders of everything you've done so far, that has made you the amazing, wise, compassionate person you are today.

Step 1 | Gather 3-5 Credibility Statements
1 | Let's check out Cultivate Your Credibility Template (both Step 1 and Step 2). Is there ANYTHING else that you could have included on your list of Credibility Statements?
The more Credibility Statements you have, the more you have to sprinkle into social posts, speaking gigs, workshops, podcast interviews, reels or videos.
Step 2 | Choose Your MOST credible statement
Which Credibility Statement would your people (in your niche) find most impressive)?
Is there any number you could add to your statement that would increase the credibility? For example, can you find evidence that you coached, mentored, taught, supported hundreds of people (even if it's not in the exact area that you help with now).
For example, at a past job, or teaching yoga classes, teaching college students, etc.
Step 3 | Rephrase your statement to be more impressive

Often it’s a description of a former version of who you were. This is not always the case, but it is a great place to look.
What if I don’t feel like an expert in any of the 4 main problem areas?
You might not be an expert in money, health, relationships, or beauty, but what subset of one of these categories ARE you 2 steps ahead of SOME people on this planet?
